I have found a replacement to SecureIT that I used with my Palm. There are some things that I missed about my Handspring and this was one of them. Since I have switched to a ViewSonic V37 I have been looking for a replacement. CryptoCard has been my closes match, and 2.2.0 has just been released. I was looking for something free and had the ability to create new templates. CryptoCard has the added benefit of having a windows version also. Now I can read my secure information from anywhere at any time.

I like the interface and it is very consistant between the two platforms. The only improvement I would like to see the ability to tap on a file and it to open on the PDA.

I have created a couple of new/enhanced templates for CryptoCard that are very easy to create:

BankAccount (4)

CreditCard (3)

Personal (2)

Vehicle (2) (Shown below)

WebSite (2)

Vehicle - Main

Vehicle - Vehicle

If you use Palm OS and have personal information the needs to be secure then check out Secure It by Brian Schau. It functions like the memo application, but is password protected. The ability to create teamplates is priceless, because it can reduce the amount of writing. I currently have 4 different templates: Auto, Credit Card, Internet Account, Personal Information. It is so nice to be able to remeber one password.

The templates that I use:
Auto
Make:
Year:
Model:
Engine:
License:
VIN:

Credit Card
Card no#:
Expiry date:
Name as printed:
Security Code:

Internet Account
Hostname:
Username: chadsmiley
Password: your normal password

Personal Information
SSN:
Date of Birth:

There are more features like export and import. Check out the Secure It Manual for all the features, with screen shots.
